We trudged our way through more "missed" horror films of the 1930s, missed in the sense of, we missed them in our first run-through! Generally, we can see why we missed them. But some of them weren't bad! Won't do faves on these because they were generally not enjoyable haha. 1933 - Mystery of the Wax Museum: The two-tone technicolor was odd here. It might have been our only horror film like that. It was interesting seeing how this would inspire the later Vincent Price one. It felt like the Price one was a shot-for-shot. But because we had seen Price's first, this one just didn't feel that good. 1934 - The Tell-Tale Heart: For a Poe film, it's fairly mediocre. I would have expected a lot more Gothic imagery, but it just focuses more on the MC's madness. 1935 - Mark of the Vampire: Another Lugosi vampire film.
