The Hardest Part About Being a Fox

Image
If you're in the furry fandom, this won't be news to you so much. If you're not...buckle up. Whatever species you choose as your "fursona" in the furry fandom often dictates specific fandom-based stereotypes about you. Some of these play off of non-fandom cultural stereotypes or folklore. For example, wolves are considered dominant usually, super "alpha." Bunnies are known to, well, fuck like rabbits. And I suppose this isn't even a unique thing among non-furries either. What I'm talking about is something I'll call bottom or fox envy. With foxes, there's this understanding that you're just about the sluttiest thing that walks on two legs. You'll take dick from anyone, anywhere, anytime. No or few limits. Even outside the fandom, bottom envy definitely exists. There's this idea that we have to compete to take the biggest dick possible. I know some bottoms who regularly train with toys, increasing in size, because they ...

Disney Sexpedition!

My bae and I went to Florida this July, and it was fucking awesome. It's story time (and lots of sex), motherfuckers. This time, I flew down to Texas first. And I can say Absinthe was scared as fuck of me seeing his house. Why you ask? Well, like the last post, we talked about that through shared poetry. I started this one this time. The State of His House He was a little green ball of      anxiety. "I don't want you to see my house. You'll hate it. You'll break up with me." I scoffed. when i walked under the threshold i was assaulted by the din of dogs of barks and woofs and growls and yips "This is Espresso!" he yelled to his grandmother I tried to say "Nice to met you," but the din drowned me out. i felt like i was in a Dr. Seuss book One Dog Two Dogs Big Dogs Small Dogs but when the calm hit, i saw the architecture. a map of scars. a cracked ceiling / a past fragmented an unfinished floor / a future unc...

Absinthe's Second Trip to Michigan (Long)

Image
Christmas went nice. We sent each other some gifts, and it was sweet. (He still doesn't know how much of a holiday freak I am yet, but he will...) But in the spring / late winter of this year, he decided to come up for another weekend. I had a long talk with Waffles beforehand. I wanted none of the shit that happened the time before, and, for the most part, I got my way. It's hard for me to remember a lot of the specifics of this trip. I might have been overworked at the time or something. But I really do struggle to remember everything from this time. There was a time when I was teaching a class he came to sit in on, and we sexted while my students were working. Later that night, we did our usual sex game again, doing various poses from furry sex art. Sin after I did his hair for the first time~ But the next day, we went on a few adventures. For one, we hit up the local mall, something Absinthe hadn't been able to do in a while, I think. There was a trampoli...

Absinthe in the Cold

The first time my green lover came to Michigan to see me, it was a frozen October Michigan night. I was terrified, and I think he was, too. I was scared because I am a very introverted person believe it or not. If I didn't click with him in person, I wouldn't have the balls to say anything about it until after the week was over and he flew back to Texas. Plus, at the time, I was still living with Cider, and that left plenty of room for chaos. I think he was scared of similar things, too. But from what he's told me since, he was scared I would have been "fake." He later wrote a short story that starts out with a similar airport pickup for a long-distance relationship, but the lover becomes a monster who actually devours the traveling guy mid-sex. We kissed in the car, and it was magic. We held hands on the way to my place. It was tremendously cold, but I don't remember there being snow that day. When we got to my house, we got inside, and, if memory serve...

Enter Absinthe

In my increasingly limited spare time, I run a publishing house. Around 2016, I received a query from a green ball of anxiety furry I shall call Absinthe. He wanted me to publish his Beat novella. We loved the query, and we decided to publish it. It turns out that Absinthe ran a house, too though. So, I collaborated with him on publishing projects. To this day, we are both editors for each other's houses. ("What is conflict of interest?" Shut up, Jeopardy assholes.) Through my relationship with Cider, Absinthe and I got closer as friends. We occasionally roleplayed online, flirted, and just talked regularly. He was married at the time to a guy I'll call Waffles. They were open and poly, but I wasn't quite there yet. Plus, I hated long-distance relationships. They lived out in Texas, and I lived in Michigan, and Cider and I were still closed. When Cider and I broke up though, I started talking more with Waffles and saw there were a lot of mutual feelings of int...
