Putting a Ring on It
For those who have followed me on any kind of social media, you know that something magical happened this most recent Valentine's Day. I got engaged to Sin!!! So, if you look way back at my earlier posts, you see that one of our first dates (and hookups) was at a graveyard near where I lived at the time. It was a sweet and romantic place for us. Then in my last post, you might have seen that I had an artist stylize a photo of that graveyard for a background photo of a furry art piece I used as a cover for a poetry book I gifted Sin. Well, on Valentine's Day, Sin said he wanted to go for a drive, and he told me he wanted to go to the graveyard. We walked around a while there, in the cold and frozen snow, ghosts whispering around us, and he took me under a frozen willow tree, and he took out his phone and read me a poem, about all the great times we have being with each other and about the future. And he ended it with, "Will you marry me?" And he took out the ring. ...
